If there is anyone who is worthy of the title Orchid Expert, its Ron McHatton. Ron is Chief Education and Science Officer for the American Orchid Society (AOS). He is also the Editor of Orchids magazine, the premier monthly publication for members of the AOS. Among the other countless duties Ron is responsible for, he hosts an AOS monthly Greenhouse Chat where anyone can submit orchid related questions and have them answered. These Greenhouse Chats are open to the public live or by recorded webinars that one can find on the AOS website (click here) .

For this program, we plan to try something a little different. We will be viewing a special recorded webinar produced by Ron McHatton on Pests and Pest Management. During the viewing, we will stop the recording at key intervals and have live group discussion about what was just presented. This is sure to up everyone’s bar when it comes to the ever present issue of those dang pests.
