Carlos Ayala began growing orchids nearly a decade ago and quickly developed a passion for the unique characteristics of Catasetum orchids. Through sharing his journey on social media, Carlos discovered a love for connecting with other enthusiasts and sharing knowledge about orchid care.

Currently serving as the Vice President of the Aiken-Augusta Orchid Society and a member of the American Orchid Society, Carlos combines his love of orchids with a dedication to inspiring others and fostering a deeper appreciation for these fascinating plants.

At the February meeting, Carlos will share insights from his orchid journey, including Catasetum care, dormancy strategies, and highlights from his collection.
