Please come out to hear Jason Harpster delve into the fascinating genus of Angraecoids. This is an orchid we all need in our collection, and we can all grow it with a little help from Jason.

Jason Harpster is the chair of the Carolinas Judging Center and a certified American Orchid Society judge. Based in Southern Pines, NC, Jason curates a personal orchid collection of over 1,200 plants, including more than 500 unique species across 100+ genera. He has received 13 AOS awards and names each awarded plant after his hometown. His writing appears regularly in Orchids magazine and Pinestraw, where he highlights notable awarded orchids and their histories. Jason is currently designing a 1,000 square foot greenhouse to house his growing collection at his office, Central Security Systems, Inc., where he serves as general manager. He holds an MBA and is NICET Level IV certified in fire alarm systems.
