If you haven’t figured it out yet, Graham is a Phrag guy. This talk is a PowerPoint presentation and will concentrate on basic Phragmipedium culture. He will cover repotting needs along with the use of different potting mediums and techniques. He will also talk briefly about Phragmipedium breeding history.

Graham was bitten by the orchid bug more then 20 years ago. His first orchid was…you guessed it, a white phalaenopsis. It wasn’t until his mother-in-law sent him home with two boxes full of not white phalaenopsis that he became obsessed. Sound familiar? Next came joining the Western North Carolina Orchid Society more then 20 years age. From there it was Board member, Vice President, President, and Annual Show Chair. He is currently serving on the AOS Membership and Marketing Committee and the Affiliated Societies Committee. Did I mention he does home propagation? He really has it bad. Graham has registered 20 of my own hybrid crosses and has received over 56 AOS awards, 14 of them on his new hybrids.
