Last Call!!!!! See below for our July Social details, we are sitting at about 30 members who have RSVP’d. That leaves us with up to only 20 more spaces available for MEMBERS! A kind reminder, this is a MEMBERS only event, and the WNCOS has sponsored it. Should we end up with a few extra seats at the table, we will try to accommodate a few of your spouses who you asked to accompany you this upcoming Sunday, 7/9/17 at 2:00 P.M. at Post 25 Restaurant and Lounge in Arden.

        July’s Summer Social – IMPORTANT RSVP DETAILS

Sunday, July 9th, 2:00 p.m. Post 25 Restaurant, Arden

July, 9, 2017 will be our annual summer social at 2pm. We heard from several of you members and went hard to work on something better than a typical pot luck style social at our regular meeting space. I am VERY happy to announce that the WNCOS is going to sponsor our summer social. This is one way we want to thank you active members. Our 2016 and 2017 Festivals were tremendously successful and we’re taking this opportunity to reward ourselves for all our hard work and celebrate our successes. We’ll gather for a nice brunch at our local favorite restaurant and lounge, POST 25 in Arden. Details found below, but what I’ve got to stress to you all is that we have a maximum of 50 peoplewho POST 25 can accommodate in their party room. We typically run around 30-35 members in attendance, so we should be ok but this is going to be capped at 50 members. Yes, this is a MEMBERS only event for July and the board appreciates your understanding. I’d like to ask for our current, active members in the 2016-17 years to reserve your space with a simple RSVP to me, at info@wncos.org. This means we need to leave our friends, spouses, neighbors and potential new members at home for the July social. Pains me to have to say this, but we absolutely cannot exceed 50 members. I will update the membership accordingly as we approach July 9, and will share with you how we’re looking and if there remains space available.

Brett and Julie are very close with the owners of Post 25 and Post 70 here in Buncombe County, and they’ve kindly offered to assist me in getting us set up for a great time there for our social. Thank you both for your assistance, it’s going to be a great time! Members, bring nothing but a smile and be ready to enjoy yourself. But, don’t forget that you MUST RSVP to reserve a seat at the table. We will not have show & tell, however I do have plans for a raffle giveaway. Post 25, located at 2155 Hendersonville Rd., Arden NC 28704. Very easy to find, plenty of parking, great friends & great food. This is a WNCOS sponsored event, however we cannot pay for alcohol. All of you who wish to have a drink are absolutely encouraged to do so, at your own expense. I thank you all for your understanding and am really looking forward to it.
