Will is an Associate Judge in the Carolinas Judging Center and Vice President of the Triad Orchid Society.  A native of North Carolina, he fell in love with plants in general and orchids in particular through helping his grandmother with her collection of tropicals and houseplants when he was growing up. When his partner began collecting carnivorous plants about 10 years ago, Will started collecting orchids. Through connecting with the late Dr. Tom Nasser, Will and his partner began to focus in on miniature orchids and specifically on Pleurothalladinae. Now they have a collection of around 250 species and hybrids that are grown mostly in their basement under lights.
